Digadog's Kennel started in 2001.

We live in Mellerud, Dalsland my name is Lillis Grödem and

I have four kids Jeff , Tim, Josephine and Max, they are born 88-98.

When I was about 12 years old, i lendt my neighbours dog for walk. Among them there was little Zenta a "Drever" wich I almost lent as mine. Thank you, Jan, for the time with Zenta.

My first own dog (1984), Lizzie, was a black and white New Foundland (Landseer).

During my life in Steungsund I also were a big horse lover, I have had total 10 own horsers in my life.

We also have had miniature pig, ducks and hen. Earlier in life I have had Hamster, Guinea pig and rabbit.

1996 we saved a Dachshound (Boss) from "put to sleep", he was the new start for me to have a dog again.... but he couldn't stay with us because he needed to hunt, and he was good at it. He got a new owner (1998) wich hunted and had another dog too. He liked it alot.

I started to search for a new dog and found in summer of 2001 our first Saint Bernard (Fuzzie) she was then 6 months. I started with aubedience with Fuzzie...but she didn't like it...I got to learn about calming signals. Later there were more Saint Bernards, and three litters. Today we have no puppies.

Then i lernt to know the Portuguese Waterdog (PWD)...an alert workwilling nice family dog.

Doris (PWD) came in to my life in november 2001. In spring of 2002 we started in Tjörns Brukshundklubb and tried aubedience, and a lot of other things, it was very fun but we also during 2002 started to enter the showring. That took over the aubedience and was very fun! The result of showing Doris is: Swedish Winner-03, Swedish Champion, Norwegian Champion, International Champion and Nordic Winner-04.

We have kept somePWD's in the kennel and we also have some dogs in co owner ship.

Since I always have liked the Pug we got our first Pug, Thilda, in 2004. With a lot of energy Thilda never let our life be the same again! Thank you Thilda! Look at a pug and you can't stop smiling. Wonderful little dog! Thilda gave us Grynet in 2008! Thank you! She got the same energy like her mother + some from her father ;) !

In 2008 came little Ärtan in to our lifes but she suffered from breath problems so she today live with the family who have a pug from us.

In 2009 we enriched our kennel with Harry, a black Pug male. He is the biggest charming boy at the kennel! He is lovely! We hope for more black pugs.

We have during some years been seen more or less at show, trainings and walks, and you will still do. We are planning for more puppies too.
